Villarrubia de los Ojos prepares a summer full of sports activities

Councilor Sports and Youth, Sergio Navarro Adeva, has presented the schedule of sports activities for summer 2021, highlighting important news so that the little ones can enjoy the summer, while helping parents to reconcile family and work life. Likewise, a flyer has been distributed, where all the activities are indicated, by all the classes of the schools to reach the neighbors directly.

The first activity is the Soccer Campus, for boys and girls born between 2014-2007 (both inclusive), which will be done with the traditional format and with that of 3×3 battles for participants, as a novelty this year. In addition, the little ones will be able to enjoy the Municipal Pool at the end of the morning to withstand the high temperatures.

The registration period is from June 7 to 18 and the dates to participate range from July 5 to 16 and / or July 19 to 30, the price being 50 euros for a fortnight or 90 euros for the entire month.

In the same way, the summer tournaments of the following sports: football 8, futsal, tennis, paddle tennis, badminton, basketball and table tennis. Registrations can be made from June 9 to 26 and have a cost of 5 euros.

Likewise, from July 1, the swimming courses which, as a result of the pandemic, were suspended. The registration period is from June 9 to 26, and the general fee is 30 euros; 15 euros for people over 60 and retirees; and 8 euros for people with functional diversity.

During the month of August the activity will not stop, as in other years, but as a novelty there will be a Tennis Campus, Mondays and Wednesdays, and another of Paddle, Tuesday and Thursday. Classes are 3 hours a week and will last from August 2 to 27. The registration fee is 16 euros.

“There will be activities throughout the summer, so that the villarrubieros can practice all the sports they want without coinciding on the same dates,” said the mayor of Sports.

Registration for all activities must be done in the Sports Pavilion, in the morning from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and in the afternoon from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
