Viktor Troicki said goodbye to tennis

Viktor Troicki (196th) put an end to his long and successful career as a professional tennis player: at 35, and after losing vs. Brandon Nakashima (138th) in the second round of qualifying at Wimbledon, the Serbian decided to hang up his rackets.

With three ATP titles, his best moment was in 2008 when he reached 12th ATP. In addition, in 2010 he was part of the Serbian Davis Cup champion team. In Grand Slam tournaments, Viktor reached the fourth round at Roland Garros (2011 and 2016) and at Wimbledon (2012). In Australia (2011, 2015 and 2017) and in the US Open (2008) it reached the third instance.

“I achieved things that I could never imagine, but I think the time has come to enjoy some time at home with my family”Troicki said when announcing his farewell from the circuit.
