Vaccination without appointment

A new vaccination operation against Covid-19 without appointment will take place Thursday 24 June, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Polyclinique de Limoges, on the Chénieux site. It is open to the public aged 12 and over.

This is the second time that such an initiative has been organized in Haute-Vienne where candidates for vaccination can come forward spontaneously. On June 17, a night without prior reservation had attracted many people: 182 doses had been administered over four hours.

Retirement

Agirc-Arrco and Retirement Insurance are organizing a new joint edition of the “Retirement Meetings” from June 28 to July 3. During this week, workers of all ages are invited to take stock of their personal situation by telephone or at one of the 36 reception points located in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Registrations here.

Assets will be welcomed Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Reception points at Limoges : 5 rue Monte-à-Regret and 37 avenue du Président René-Coty.

Dance

Saturday June 26, Laëtitia, professional dancer for 9 years and dance teacher for 6 years in oriental fusion dance and African dance, organizes a fusion dance workshop, open from 12 years old, at Rue du Cirque, 5 quai des Mégisseries in Saint-Junien.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: guided meditation, bodily anchoring and breathing exercises, yoga stretches, learning a choreography.

From 1 pm to 2:30 pm: shared meal with oriental flavors.

From 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m .: alternation between learning the choreography and different exercises to isolate parts of the body as well as intuitive dance exercises.

Expo

Open on April 17 at the Francophone Multimedia Library in Limoges, the exhibition “Limoges, ça a bien changer” is extended until August 14.

Two more months to discover the face of our city in the second half of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century through photographs chosen by Laure Fabry and Baptiste Chrétien from the Audiguet and Boudeau collections kept at the heritage center of the BFM. Several of these photos are mirrored with contemporary documents. The screening of films on Limoges on loan from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine film library as well as books and old magazines complete this exhibition. Free entrance.

Do you exercise well

During the next school holidays, the City of Limoges is organizing the Sportez-vous bien operation, which allows all children aged 6 to 16 (residing in Limoges) to take part in a variety of activities free of charge. During these activities, the children are supervised by qualified educators from partner structures and qualified municipal staff. Registrations begin on Wednesday 23 June in the eight town hall offices and the two annexed town halls or by phone at 05.55.38.50.55 or 05.55.38.50.66 (from 8:30 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm) .

Music

The municipality of Condat-sur-Vienne is offering an evening called Summer Solstice, Friday June 25 from 6 p.m. on the forecourt of the Le Bateau Livre library.

The program is varied, with: at 6 pm, classical music and the concert of the students of the inter-municipal conservatory of the west of Limoges; at 7 p.m., Les Trois Tess (Urbaka show), a zany vocal trio that performs ditties for a subtle, absurd, and funny result; at 8 pm, the Wontanara association will offer African dances and percussions ?; at 8:30 p.m., French song with Bob and Jo; at 9:30 pm, rock, pop and folk music with the group “Et hop ?! “.

During the evening, market traders will offer grills, drinks, etc.

Cinema

Contrary to what had been announced at first, the screening at the Grand Ecran Center in Limoges of the short film Luca, Monday June 28, film written by three young people from Val de l’Aurence who had won an inter-regional screenplay competition, is not public, but only by invitation.
