Dominik Kotarski will play on a rental basis for the Croatian HNK Gorica next season. After recruiting Remko Pasveer and Jay Gorter, it soon became clear that there would be no place for Kotarski.
That reports The Telegraph. The young goalkeeper is loaned to the club from his native country. It is not known whether an option to purchase has been negotiated. Reportedly, Ajax is also open to the sale of Andre Onana and Kjell Scherpen.
Kotarski came over from Dinamo Zagreb in 2018 as a great talent, but has not yet experienced his breakthrough in Amsterdam. To date, he has played sixty matches in the Kitchen Champion Division. He has not yet made his debut in the first team. At Gorica, the 21-year-old has to make minutes at the highest level.
Update: Ajax has confirmed Kotarski’s rental transfer through the official channels. The goalkeeper will play for the Croatian HNK Gorica for one season. He still has a contract with Ajax until 2023.
