In the case of the sports program, you can choose from a total of 25 disciplines with proposals for boys, girls and young people from 3 to 17 years old (Municipal Sports Schools), as well as for adults (over 18 years old).
The Municipal Schools offered for the next year are sports skills, multisport, chess, athletics, badminton, basketball, handball, baseball, sport adapted for people with disabilities, fencing, racquetball, soccer, futsal, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, paddle tennis, skating , tennis, table tennis, trampoline, archery and volleyball. The monthly rate, with the Citizen Card, is between 11.32 and 31.33 euros. Without this document, prices vary between 13.58 and 33.63 euros.
For its part, activities for adults (born in 2003 or earlier) are fencing, karate, paddle tennis, skating, Pilates, tai chi, tennis, archery and yoga. In this case, the monthly price ranges between 13.71 and 25.46 euros for Citizen Card holders and between 16.45 and 30.56 euros for those without this document.
In all cases, the payment is quarterly and bonuses -not cumulative- are applied with the Citizen Card: 50 percent, to people over 65 with a non-contributory pension or people with a disability of at least 33 percent, and the 25 percent for large families (50 percent from the third child under 18 years of age). In all cases, the subscription is quarterly.
Cultural activities
Regarding the cultural program, sessions are offered in the disciplines of painting, sculpture, dance, interpretation, music and singing. In addition, you can attend the film workshop, as well as the restoration of furniture, ceramics and crafts. The application must be processed in person at the Casa de la Cultura concierge.
In the case of painting, plastic arts sessions are given for children and young people (from 4 to 20 years old) and for adult students, drawing processes and procedures, pictorial procedures, languages and research and free. In dance, you can choose between classical ballet (from 5 years old) and contemporary at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. The interpretation workshop has groups from 10 years old. As for music, the program includes piano -as a novelty, the reinforcement group for a conservatory with two seats has been created and which is added to the three by age: from 7 to 10, from 11 to 13 and from 14 to 17 years -; transverse flute (from 7 years old, beginner and middle level), guitar (classical and flamenco, from 7 years old) and musical garden (6 years old), keyboards (from 12 years old, beginner and advanced level), guitar modern (from 14 years old), drums (from 9 years old) and singing (youth group from 12 to 33 years old and adults, from 34 years old).
The quarterly rate is 75 euros for Citizen Card holders and 90 euros, for those who do not have this municipal document. Likewise, it offers the possibility of paying the annual fee of 200 euros for holders of the Citizen Card and 245 euros for other people. In the case of the film workshop, the quarterly price is 30 euros and the annual price is 90 euros.
The City Council applies non-cumulative bonuses to holders of the Citizen Card who prove the condition of a large family (50 percent from the registration of the third member under 18 years of age), over 65 years of age or with a non-contributory pension (50 percent ) and with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 percent (50 percent).
