In the last game of the Venezuelan in charge, the ‘Romantic Traveler’ could not overcome a tough ‘Arab’ cast and ended up drawing without goals at the Municipal de La Cisterna. The blue ones reached 12 units, remaining in the middle of the table, and the tricolor continue in the lower part.

In a match corresponding to the tenth day of the National Championship, Universidad de Chile and Palestino did not draw differences and signed a 0-0 equality in La Cisterna, in what was a bittersweet and ungrateful goodbye to Rafael Dudamel as coach of the students.

The Blues surprised at the start, dominating and generating several occasions to open the scoring, with a Pablo Aránguiz plugged in enabling a Joaquín Larrivey who was not fine when making decisions in front of goal.

After those first 20 ‘of visiting dominance, those led by José Luis Sierra grew and began to generate danger from the hand of Carlos Villanueva. It was an entertaining first half, with a lot of back and forth, but without goals.

In the complement it was the ‘Tino Tino’ who came out with more clarity and with greater danger, in front of a Rafael Dudamel team that was staying and began to lack associative football. Despite the constant attacks from the premises and the lukewarm approaches of the ‘U’, the score was never opened in La Cisterna.

At the farewell to Dudamel on the blue bench, the ‘lay’ team for the moment rose to ninth position and culminates with 12 units in the national tournament break. While those led by the ‘Coto’ were fourteenth with 8 points.
