The Scream of Donny Van De Beek’s Heart: Marginalized at Man United, Excluded from the Dutch National Team

Donny van de Beek poured out his heart emotionally after being sidelined in the Man United squad and then being excluded from the Dutch squad.

Donny van de Beek has raised his voice regarding his elimination in the Dutch national team squad for Euro 2020 which will take place this weekend.

The Manchester United midfielder had to be removed from Frank De Boer’s fleet because moments before the tournament he actually suffered a thigh injury. This problem required him to undergo treatment which ensured he missed this edition of the Euros.

This seems to be a crushing blow for van de Beek. Because, since joining The Red Devils, he is also quite “suffering” because he rarely gets the opportunity to appear regularly.

Under the command of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the former Ajax midfielder is only a second choice.

Hence, how heartbroken the 24-year-old player is when he finds himself also having to pull out of the Dutch squad for the big event this summer.

Via his personal Instagram, van de Beek poured out his heart by writing: “As you may have observed, unfortunately I have to leave the team. [Belanda] because of a thigh injury.”

“A big disappointment, especially because this will actually be my first European Championship and unfortunately I can’t be involved there,” van de Beek mourned.

However, van de Beek said he was grateful to all the fans who always encouraged him after rarely playing at Man United and then being eliminated from the Dutch squad for the big event. The midfielder emphasized, his struggle will not stop just because of this.

“I want to thank all of you for the soothing messages I’ve received,” continued van de Beek.

“It means a lot to me. I want to pray for the players, staff and last but not least the fans at the European Championships,” he concluded.
