The Saint-Thégonnec-Loc-Eguiner judo club wants to re-mobilize young judokas – Saint-Thégonnec-Loc-Eguiner

The Saint-Thégonnec-Loc-Eguiner judo club held its general assembly on Tuesday, June 29, at the dojo room. Due to the health crisis, the season was special: there was no training on the tatami mats, nor quarterly shiai. From 48 members before covid-19, the workforce rose to 19 at the end of this 2020-2021 season. The financial results are slightly positive, while waiting for the recovery plan which will be able to reduce the price of the license for next season and to revive the dynamics.

Free summer courses

Throughout the summer, free courses will be offered to the youngest (up to the junior category). A re-registration session will take place on Tuesday July 6, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the basement of the canteen. The resumption of classes is scheduled for Tuesday, September 7 (kimono loan and free trial sessions).

A new office has been set up: co-presidents, Marina Figuier and Valérie Dantec; treasurer, Philippe Le Guen; secretary, Cindy Mordelet (former black belt).
