The Junín Government continues to accompany the sports institutions of the City, so that more children can perform physical activity, complying with the current health protocols.
On this occasion, the municipality arbitrated the necessary means for the Argentine Club to carry out basketball practices on public roads, a measure that was very well received by both the boys and their families.
In this regard, the Secretary of Government, Agustina de Miguel, said: “Junín clubs have a lot of creativity, leaders who lead them with their hearts and teachers who try to put together the best possible class so that children can enjoy the sport they love. And, in addition, the families have the commitment to bring them so that they can return little by little. For this reason, both the club and the families have the support of the municipality, “said the official.
He then pointed out that “It is a great pride for everyone to see how they have reinvented themselves, practicing in the street, outdoors and in bubbles with groups of 10. We have young children from the age of five, who can once again have that bond with the teachers and the older ones who train in the park. We want them to return to training within the clubs and we continue to fight for that, but in the meantime we invite them to continue working in this way until we achieve one more step, “added Agustina de Miguel.
Masino: “Work together”
For his part, Horacio Masino, president of Argentino, said: “It is a great joy to be able to see the boys, because they need this: to reconnect with their classmates and teachers. The teachers’ idea of being able to train in the street seemed to us fantastic and we see in the boys the faces of happiness “.
He further said: “I want to thank the municipality, because when we presented the proposal to them, they immediately said yes. Finally, the Secretary of Security of the municipality, Gonzalo Andrés Rosa, stated: “We are part of a team and, with the areas of the municipality that are needed, we always work for the neighbors. We are grateful for this commitment that the club has. We know how they work and how they take care of themselves so that nothing happens.
