The Mandalika Circuit will host the 11th race of the 13 Superbike series on November 12-14 2021, before holding a MotoGP race in March 2022.

In organizing the 2021 Superbike at the Mandalika Circuit, the bubble system will be applied because it is still in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Technically, asking participants to attend five days earlier before the inaugural exercise is held to undergo quarantine.

Menparekraf hopes that international sports events held in Indonesia, including Superbike and FIBA Asia Cup 2021, can inspire enthusiasm and other events in the future. This is also to prove that Indonesia is able to hold international events in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Audience attendance will be adjusted according to Covid-19 data in November. The decision on whether the audience capacity is 10-20 or 30 percent will be determined at the end. The audience will also be carried out using a bubble system through tiered testing and with strict and disciplined procedures .”
