Seville: a 5-year contract for Ramos?

At the end of his contract, central defender Sergio Ramos (35 years old, 15 games and 2 goals in La Liga this season) failed to come to an agreement with his club Real Madrid who offered him a one-year extension with a 10% salary reduction (see here). This situation has aroused the attention of the Spaniard’s training club, Sevilla FC, which is ready to step into the breach with a much more generous proposal, reveals the media esRadio!

To convince him to find the club he left for Casa Blanca in 2005, the Andalusian team would indeed offer a 5-year contract to Merengue, that is, until he was 40! The proposed salary (we are talking about 7 million euros per year while the player received 12 million at Real) seems lower than Ramos’ expectations, but the long-term lease could encourage him to think, especially as the offer would include also a possibility of reconversion within the club at the end of his career. Business to follow ??
