Season ended for De’Andre Hunter, victim of a torn meniscus | NBA

Not all meniscus tears are created equal, and while Joel Embiid can play with his own, De’Andre Hunter has to give up on the rest of the Hawks’ playoff campaign.

Embarrassed for a very large part of the season by knee problems, the winger had returned just before the playoffs, regaining his starting place against the Knicks. Except that we did not see him in the first two games against the Sixers, Atlanta explaining that his knee had swelled and therefore had to have an MRI.

This showed a tear in the lateral meniscus of the player, who will have to undergo surgery and will therefore have to wait until next season before pushing back the floors.
