Porzingis’ shattering Insta post to end his season

Little to his advantage this season, Kristaps Porzingis is not really welcome in Dallas at the moment. This does not prevent the interior from expressing themselves freely on social networks. His last outing was also a statement without appeal, intended for the entire NBA.

Among the biggest individual disappointments of this season, one can certainly include Kristaps Porzingis in the discussion. The Mavs player was particularly dramatic in the playoffs (12 points and 4 rebounds on average against the Clippers), and was partly responsible for the rapid elimination of the Texans, failing to be able to help Luka Doncic.

We can therefore say that the Latvian does not really smell of sanctity at home, to the point where his franchise would seek to trade him ! In the meantime, he ignores all this, and prefers to prepare for next season. In any case, this is what his most recent post on Instagram suggests:

I’m approaching this offseason with pressure on my shoulders and I’m going to use all that noise to motivate myself even more. I only focus on what I can control and that is to whip to be better every day.

I will continue to smile and enjoy the process through it all ????????. Thanks for the love and support. ????2.0 in progress …

Porzingod has announced that 2021-22 should be the year he rises from the ashes. For that, his body would already have to leave him in peace. In five seasons in the league, the sixth having been white, the big man has never exceeded the bar of 66 games played (43 this season). Not really enough to keep a good pace from the start to the end of the exercise.

But above all, the Zinger will need it to increase its popularity. If his profile of “unicorn” (gigantic interior capable of shooting from afar) is enough to intrigue many franchises, his NBA career remains particularly frustrating. KP will in particular have to be more invested in defense and rebound, in order to contribute other than scoring.

According to Kristaps Porzingis, his next season should be a lot different from 2020-21. This could all the more be the case if the Mavs find him another base during the offseason.
