The main stadium Court Philippe Chatrier can normally seat 15,000 spectators, but that can only be 5000 due to the corona measures.

But that was not what some of the fans wanted in the attractive semi-final between the Djokovic and Berretinni. ,,We’re not leaving”, an angry group chanted shortly before eleven o’clock.
The organizers of Roland Garros then decided to take a special measure. Both players were ejected from the court after the fifth games of the fourth set, leaving the spectators no reason to stay put.

After fifteen minutes the two men returned to the track and the duel could be resumed. This with a 2-1 lead in sets for Djokovic and a 3-2 lead in the fourth set: 6-3, 6-2, 6-7(5), 3-2. The Serb eventually took the last set 7-5 and thus conquered a ticket for the next round. After the winning run, a clearly agitated Djokovic screamed out his frustrations.
The semi-final against Nadal is a repeat of last year’s final in Paris. Then the Spaniard won in three sets and took his thirteenth title at Roland Garros. Djokovic won the French Grand Slam tournament once, in 2016.
