Seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen have teamed up with the exchange of FTX cryptomones.
The association, which was recently announced and shared by FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried via Twitter, will see Brady and Bündchen taking an equity stake in FTX Trading Limited. Both will also receive cryptocurrencies in the partnership.
Brady will serve in the exchange as ambassador, while his wife will take on the role of advisor for FTX’s environmental and social initiatives. They will both commit to making a multi-million dollar annual charitable contribution during the partnership.
Brady commented on the partnership and said:
“This is an incredibly exciting time in the world of cryptocurrencies and Sam and the groundbreaking team at FTX continue to open my eyes to the infinite possibilities.”
The NFL legend added that crypto education is important, while giving back to communities and the planet:
“We have the opportunity to create something really special here, and I can’t wait to see what we can do together.”
Cryptocurrencies and charity
Bündchen also commented on the news:
“It was fascinating to learn more about the crypto universe! Cryptocurrency will become more and more familiar to everyone as time goes on. What attracted me most to this association was the potential to apply resources to help regenerate the Earth and allow people to lead better lives, thereby generating a real transformation in our society. Sam and I are enthusiastic that we share the belief that we are on this earth for a greater reason and that we all have a role in protecting our planet. While the association will seek to grow its global audience and user base for FTX, a key aspect of the association will be that FTX, Brady and Bündchen contribute millions of dollars to charities.
Bankman-Fried added that he was excited about the partnership, focused on their mutual interests in cryptocurrencies and giving back to charity:

FTX sports associations continue to grow
The latest association with the NFL legend comes a week after the exchange announce a long-term agreement to partner with Major League Baseball (MLB).
The exchange has already added partnerships with The Miami Heat. Taking the stadium naming rights from NBA teams, which is now called FTX Arena.
FTX has also made headway in e-Sports, as the company partnered with TSM on the largest deal in e-sports history. The e-Sports team It will be renamed FTX TSM following the announcement of the ten-year multi-million dollar partnership.
