NFL 2020 Power Ranking – Week 5: a new number 1, the Dolphins take their heads out of the water

On Wednesdays on TDActu, it’s Power Ranking! 3, 2, 1, Go!

The Power Ranking is not forgiving, especially at the top of the ranking: a defeat and the consequences are immediate. The reigning champions lost to the Raiders for the first time this season and are forced to leave their throne. The new number 1s are called the Seahawks. Seattle is the only team to be still undefeated after five games and has taken a nice leap forward this week (+4). Further down, the beautiful victory of the Dolphins allows Miami to jump in the standings (+5) just like the Raiders (+5) and the Browns (+4) once again.

Conversely, the Bengals (-5) and Colts (-4) are stopped in their progression.

Time passes, it’s time to take stock. Here is our ranking. This hierarchy is not only based on the number of successes, but also on the form of the moment. If two teams are close and haven’t played each other recently, one wonders which one would win if the match was played today. Beating the strongest isn’t going to propel you to the top in a snap. Losing to one of the dunces won’t plunge you into the Abyss, either. You can win and tumble, bow and climb.

It is the merciless law of Power Ranking …
