Most hated player in every US state revealed!

Adored throughout the world, NBA superstars still have a good number of haters, sometimes centralized in the same state. An American media has thus attempted to establish the most hated player in each administrative region of the United States.

In the NBA as elsewhere, impossible to be loved by all. The superstars of the league, acquiring this status, quickly understand this. Certain opposing audiences can thus be particularly cold, even aggressive towards them. This treatment can even be born following a simple incident, and continue over time via the infallible memory of the fans.

The current playoffs demonstrate it again, as during Kyrie Irving’s recent return to Boston. This scene could also inspire Sports Insider in establishing his latest infographic. The US media has indeed tried, through the study of geo-localized tweets, to reveal the most hated player in each state. Here are their results, sometimes surprising.

The first trend that is immediately obvious, however, is not surprising, since it is LeBron James the most hated player in the United States. Face of the league for more than 10 years, the King has logically forged a good rating of unpopularity. However, he sees a competitor, whom he knows rather well, dispute this sad label with him.

Indeed, Kyrie Irving He is also the object of a lot of hatred, with no less than 18 states which take him in the flu. Among them, some amazing ones, like Florida, Colorado or Washington. His teammates Kevin Durant and James Harden also have their share of detractors, in places however much more logical.

For example, KD holds a bad image in California, which he left under strained conditions. The same goes for The Beard and Texas. Otherwise, the recent clash between Paul George and the Suns seems to have got the better of its PG13 reputation in Arizona. As for Russell Westbrook, it is undoubtedly the series between Wizards and 76ers which earned him such disenchantment in Pennsylvania.

LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Paul George and Russell Westbrook are the lucky ones in this regrettable Twitter poll. Not sure they are all honored.
