Mavs, Knicks and Spurs on the same player!

The playoffs are not over yet and yet the franchises are already starting to prepare for the next offseason. The Spurs, Knicks and Mavs are precisely on the same player, which promises a good battle.

While the majority of the league has their eyes on the playoffs, with a great team from the Suns, or a very disappointing performance from the 76ers, others are already preparing for the war to come. The free agency opens its doors in a few months, and there will be some nice names on the market.

Among them is Kelly Oubre Jr, who will be a free agent after a barely correct season with the Warriors. If the winger has been able to wake up over the months, the Dubs may not seek to keep him, especially with the return on the floors of Klay Thompson.

In a few weeks, we can therefore think that the former Suns will leave California to join a team. Despite his hazardous season, the interest is there, as with the Knicks who are looking for a quality winger to strengthen their workforce. However, according to Jake Fischer, the Spurs are also in the lot.

Oubre is expected to market around 20 million per season, and there will be plenty of contenders. Several Spurs players want to lure him to San Antonio, sources say. He could replace DeMar DeRozan, with a defensive contribution that matches San Antonio. Tom Thibodeau also has an interest in Oubre, among the New York veterans.

Great teams for Oubre, who will have no problem reviving. Finally, we were also talking about Mavs, but that was before the change in the front office. It is therefore difficult to know if the interest is still present:

Dallas is also expected to show interest. The Mavs approached Golden State before the deadline with a trade around Kristaps Porzingis. But it was a different time in Dallas, before the changes in basketball operations.

Without too many surprises, Kelly Oubre will be courted in the coming months. It’s up to him to look for the right opportunity, with the pay to go with it. Either way, competition will be fierce for the winger.
