Today, one game will be played in the Optibet Latvian Football Super League, in which Liepāja will host the Metta team on its field. The game in the stadium “Daugava” will start at 17.

Liepāja football players have three victories and one draw in the last four games. True, success over “Ventspils” and, most likely, also over Daugavpils “Noah Jurmala” will not count in the tournament table. The Metta club has three “dry” losses in a row. In both previous mutual games of this season, “Liepāja” won with a three-goal advantage (4: 1 and 3: 0).
It has already been reported that on Friday the team of Jūrmala “Spartaka” won “Daugavpils” at home with the result 2: 0 (0: 0), “Riga” won 2: 1 (0: 0) over Daugavpils “Noah Jurmala”, but “ Valmiera ”prevailed over RFS with 2: 1 (1: 1) away.
In the Premier League standings table, RFS takes the first place with 34 points in 14 games, but further with 32 points in 15 dues is “Riga”, while “Valmiera” finishes the first three with 29 points in 14 battles. Behind the first three with 16 points in 12 matches is “Liepāja”, but further with 15 points in 13 and 14 fights is “Daugavpils” and Jūrmala “Spartaks”. “Metta” takes the sixth place with nine points in 13 matches, but the last with three points in 11 games is Daugavpils “Noah Jurmala”.
This year’s Premier League champion will be determined in a four-lap tournament. It was initially reported that the calendar would be designed to be as convenient as possible for football fans. It was also promised that the games would hardly overlap, and the rounds would mostly be played in two to three days.
