Tokyo Olympics basketball venue “Saitama Super Arena” = Saitama City

Saitama Prefecture announced on the 22nd that it has requested the Games Organizing Committee to leave late-night games unattended for basketball and soccer at the Tokyo Olympics in Saitama City. Priority measures such as prevention of the spread of the new coronavirus are ongoing in the city, and there is a possibility that some restrictions will be set even after the release, and Governor Motohiro Ohno told reporters, “It is unlikely that there will be an audience.”
According to the prefecture, some basketball games scheduled to be played at Saitama Super Arena are from 9 pm to 11 pm. Soccer at Saitama Stadium also has a match that ends at 11:00 pm. It is said that Governor Ohno requested Seiko Hashimoto, the chairman of the Organizing Committee, to make the audience unattended as a special case, and responded that he would “consider.”
