Kylian Mbappe Wants To Leave PSG, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Replacement At Real Madrid?

The French striker is tired of the Ligue 1 giants and will be looking for new opportunities

Kylian Mbappe has expressed his desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain. He reportedly no longer believes in the project built by PSG’s sporting director, Leonardo Araujo.

The French player’s contract has only 12 months left, and until now he has not yet agreed a new contract at the Parc des Princes.

This situation is certainly in the spotlight for various top European clubs, with teams like Real Madrid considered a common destination for the 2018 World Cup winners.

Journalist RMC Sport, Daniel Riolo, said in a joint interview Brand that Mbappe has revealed his intentions to the club: “I know Mbappe wants to leave, but it’s a complicated matter because you have to find a club that can make up for it. He really doesn’t want to stay.”

“The player no longer believes in Leonardo’s project,” added Riolo. “If he doesn’t leave this summer, he will leave for free next season. And the Doha camp [pemilik PSG] don’t want to hear that.”

“If Mbappe expresses his desire to leave, it means he has to find a club [baru] and PSG must find a replacement. “

“But, yes. The news is that Mbappe doesn’t want to stay at PSG.”

This news can be welcomed by Los Blancos who are often reported to be interested in the services of the 22-year-old player.

Despite having poured funds of up to € 115 million to bring Eden Hazard from Chelsea, winger who is currently defending Belgium at Euro 2020 has not been able to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mbappe is considered worthy of being the successor to the legendary Portuguese striker, but PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will not remain silent about the situation that befell his greatest asset.

The former AS Monaco striker has scored 132 goals in 171 appearances in all competitions for Les Parisiens, and has provided 61 assists in the same period.

As for France, he has ripped the opponent’s net 17 times. He also won the World Cup three years ago and is playing for his country at the Euros to avenge the heartache five years ago when he lost in the 2016 final.
