Omar Quintero, coach of the Mexican basketball team, unveiled the list of 17 players who will participate in the European tour, which will serve as preparation for the pre-Olympic that will be played in Split, Croatia.

After working with 30 elements in Hermosillo, Sonora, where they held an eight-day concentration, Omar Quintero announced to the basketball players that they will continue on the road, the list being made up of Orlando Méndez, Paul Stoll, Diego Willis, Alex Pérez, Omar de Haro, Bryan Ceballos, José Estrada, Francisco Cruz, Esteban Roacho, Gabriel Girón, Marco Ramos, Juan Toscano, Fabián Jaimes, Jorge Camacho, Juan Pablo Camargo, Alejandro Reyna and Gustavo Ayón.

Of the 17 chosen, Stoll will join the team in Greece, while Francisco Cruz, Juan Toscano and Gustavo Ayón will do the same in Belgrade in the coming days.

“It has been a process that I am very happy with. Having had three generations of great quality and knowing that, as in any process, a cut has to be made, we have talent for future tournaments. I want to thank all the players who came to the call and gave everything, every second, to win a place and represent Mexico; I thank you very much for trusting us, “said Quintero.

“Happy that these types of players are coming, we want to put together our national team as well as possible and make it stronger. Everything will start on June 12 in Poland, which It will be the first stop of the tour, there they will hold a couple of matches before traveling to Greece to play three more games, finishing the preparation in Croatia against Serbia, leaving everything ready to start the pre-Olympic.
