Jose Mourinho: Real Madrid star Eden Hazard is a great player, but bad at training

The former Blues coach criticized the way the Belgian star worked in the team’s training sessions.

Jose Mourinho has criticized the work ethic of Real Madrid star Eden Hazard, with the two working together while at Chelsea from 2013 to 2015.

Hazard is currently struggling to find his best touch since signing for Madrid from Chelsea in the summer of 2019 for €100 million.

The Belgium international has not been able to show that he is a player who deserves to be labeled as the second most expensive player to sign The whites.

What did Mourinho say?

While both at Stamford Bridge, neither Mou nor Hazard demonstrated their qualities as both a coach and a player, but the Portuguese manager commented on how the 30-year-old was on the training ground.

Asked at talkSport, Mou answered a question about Hazard’s ability: “[Hazard] an extraordinary player, but with bad training.”

“He comes on the pitch every morning and he doesn’t work much. You can imagine what he would be like if he did his job professionally, he would be a top player.”

Mourinho also did not forget to praise the character of Hazard, who he described as a quiet person who focused on his family.

“He is an extraordinary man. He loves his family,” said Mou.

“He was a quiet man who focused on his family, his children and his parents. He had a very calm life.

“But when he comes on the pitch in the morning, he doesn’t do much training. What you see when he plays is not a reflection of his hard work over a week, but of his natural talent.”

Although Hazard is a star that the Stamford Bridge public has hailed, but his decision to move to Spain seems to be a nightmare for him.

For two seasons in uniform The whites, the former LOSC Lille player made just 43 appearances scoring five goals and eight assist in all competitions.
