YALOVA – HDI Insurance Defeating Beşiktaş HDI Sigorta 79-66 in the Wheelchair Basketball Super League play-off final series, İzmir Metropolitan Belediyespor became the champion by making the series 2-0.

İzmir Metropolitan Belediyespor, which eliminated Galatasaray in the semi-finals, and Beşiktaş HDI Sigorta, which eliminated 1907 Fenerbahçe, shared their trump cards in the final series. Izmir Metropolitan Belediyespor won the first match 71-67 and became the champion of the 2020-2021 season by beating the second match 79-66.

Ahmet Efetürk, who was selected as the most valuable player of the series at the cup ceremony, presented his plaque to Turkey Physically Disabled Sport Federation President Arif Ümit Uztürk. On the other hand, Yalova Youth and Sports Provincial Director Mehmet Kalyon presented an award to Selçuk Kaçın, who completed his 25th year as a referee. In addition, HDI Sigorta General Manager Ceyhan Hancıoğlu presented a plaque to İzmir Metropolitan Belediyespor captain Ersin Sayın for their championship.

Beşiktaş HDI Insured players, who finished the 2020-2021 season in second place, received their medals from Yalova Youth and Sports Provincial Director Mehmet Kalyon, while the trophy was presented by Arif Ümit Uztürk, President of the Turkish Physically Handicapped Sports Federation.

Yalova Provincial General Assembly President Hasan Soygüzel presented his medals and trophy to İzmir Metropolitan Belediyespor, which completed the challenging marathon with a championship. President of Turkish Physically Handicapped Sports Federation Arif Ümit Uztürk, Terma City CEO Tevfik Talas and HDI Insurance General Manager Ceyhan Hancıoğlu presented the championship trophy.
