In Campania free summer camps for 150 students (10/06/2021)

Sports, swimming pool, educational garden, film club… Students attending the lower secondary school in the four partner schools of the “Panthakù. Educare everywhere ”, selected by“ Con i Bambini ”as part of the Fund for the contrast of juvenile educational poverty, from 14 June they will begin their summer adventure.

In Salerno, 90 places will be made available for the students of IC Calcedonia and IC Montalcini, who will be able to benefit from this opportunity thanks to the two summer centers planned in collaboration with the partners CSI Salerno (Centro Sportivo Italiano) and Rari Nantes Nuoto Salerno. More specifically, at the municipal skating rink along the waterfront in via Tafuri with the CSI, as in 2019, children will be able to take courses in volleyball, skating, basketball, tennis, archery and many other sports and socialization activities. The center will be active from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 13.30 with two-week shifts. The Nicodemi pool, on the other hand, thanks to the Rari Nantes Nuoto Salerno, will open its doors with water activities (swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, fin swimming) and motor and socialization activities, always from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 13.30 with shifts of two weeks.

The summer camp, created at the request of the school managers, was welcomed with great enthusiasm, because I consider this event a moment of aggregation and dissemination of good practices even among the little ones and I will make sure to continue it even beyond the closure of the project activities. “.

From Salerno to Castellammare di Stabia: 30 students of the Denza institute will participate in the summer camp “And no I’m not bored!” created by the Stabia Basketball Team and the Terme di Stabia Tennis Club. Physical and outdoor sports activities, tennis lessons, basketball, five-a-side football, dance and group dances, swimming pool, karaoke, animated films, board and group games, table tennis, table football, educational garden, reading workshops, volleyball, baseball, dodgeball, rugby, team games … The service will be active from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 17.30 (with shifts for each student of a week) with lunch included and the shuttle that will make a return service . “For us it is a great pride to collaborate with an association so actively involved in the social sector – says Giuseppe Zurolo, director of” And no that I am not bored! ” – We look forward to continuing this partnership to offer our small contribution to the rebirth of the territory ».

The Principe di Piemonte institute of Santa Maria Capua Vetere will instead be able to access the first summer center built at the Real site of Carditello: the program of events is very rich and ranges from laboratories related to nature and the environment to sports disciplines, from activities theatrical to musical and playful ones. The campus will last three weeks from 14 June to 2 July, from Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 16.30 including the return shuttle. The director of the Real Sito di Carditello, Roberto Format, explains that «Carditello is an inclusive and very friendly site. We are developing numerous child-friendly projects, with the aim of offering new services to families and stimulating the youngest with playful activities, educational paths and theater workshops in the woods. A cultural model that makes us particularly proud and intends to enhance every type of cultural diversity in Carditello. Carditello is an anticamorra site but it is above all a symbol of redemption and rebirth for the entire territory, open to children, families and refugees ». Great satisfaction also from the Agape Fraterna Association which will manage the administrative aspects of the summer centers for the pupils of the schools of Castellammare Stabia and Santa Maria Capua Vetere: “Our mission is to give support to families in economic difficulty and in this case we do it offering them the opportunity to make their children spend a happy period after the long and difficult months we have lived ”, explains the president of fraternal Agape Daniele Carrano.
