Budapest – France ended the “horror group” F at the pan-European football championship as the front runner. On Wednesday evening, at the end of the entire group stage, the world champion scored 2-2 in a duel with Portugal in Budapest and secured first place with five points. After the new edition of the European Championship finals in 2016, Portugal made it into the second round with one point less than Germany than one of four best-placed third parties.
