A FORMER NFL player whose girlfriend went missing a few weeks ago has been arrested while on the run in a Houston suburb for link violation.
Kevin Ware Jr, 40, was arrested by the United States Marshals Service’s Gulf Coast Fugitives Regional Task Force at a mall in the spring at around 1:30 p.m. yesterday.
Dep. Field Marshal Alfredo Perez said: “Apparently a lot of people were very scared of this guy.
“I don’t know if they were afraid of him because they heard the girlfriend was missing. “
Ware, a Spring resident who played for the Washington football team in 2003 and the San Francisco 49ers in 2004, was arrested in April and May on drug trafficking charges.
But he did not appear for supervision within two months, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Meanwhile, girlfriend Taylor Pomaski, 29, was reported missing by family members in May, weeks after she was seen at her own house party on April 25 in the spring.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said she was missing “under very suspicious circumstances and could be the victim of a crime.”
In May, the case was turned over to homicide detectives, the sheriff’s office said.
Pomanski is 5’2 ″ with blonde hair, with an “Infinity Serenity” tattoo on the front of her hip and a mole above her left eyebrow.
