Football Leaks: Swiss company paid rights to Kovacic going to Real – 11/20/2018

New documents published by “Football Leaks” indicate that Mateo Kovacic, Dejan Lovren and Dusan Tadic would have received part of their image rights payments through the Swiss company “Rasport Management”.

This company is linked to the Mamic family, accused of divert money from at least four player transfers by Dinamo Zagreb. One of them was the sale of Luka Modric to Tottenham in 2008.

Lovren’s transfer to Southampton was also linked to “Rasport Management”. According to “Football Leaks”, the athlete had a guarantee that the Swiss company would respond in his place if the UK tax authorities made demands.

The calculation presented in the leaked documents is that he would have received 2.7 million euros, of which he should have paid 1.4 million in taxes. Also ex-Southampton, Dusan Tadic would have been paid 800,000 euros.
