Five Sonorans summoned to a European basketball tour – El Sol de Hermosillo

The Sonoran coach, Omar Quintero, defined the list of 17 players who will participate in the European tour of the National Basketball Team, which will serve as the final stretch of their preparation in order to seek the ticket to the Olympic Games in the Qualifying Tournament in Croatia .

On the list, the names of five people from Sonora stand out: Jorge Camacho and Diego Willis from Hermosillo, Francisco Cruz and Bryan Ceballos from Nogales, as well as the native of Puerto Peñasco, Alejandro Reyna; all of them with the dream of being able to earn a place to be in Tokyo.

Similarly, the team is complemented by the names of Paul Stoll, Álex Pérez (who could not be in the concentration in Hermosillo), José Estrada, Omar de Haro, Fabián Jaimes, Orlando Méndez, Gabriel Girón and Marco Ramos.

In turn, there will be the youth Juan Camargo and Esteban Roacho, the veteran Gustavo Ayón and the Golden State Warriors player of the NBA, Juan Toscano will join.

On this tour they will face several teams before facing Russia and Germany in Croatian lands with the dream that Mexico will return to the Olympic Games in basketball, something it has not done since Montreal 1976.
