Salindrois sport is in mourning and more particularly judo which has just lost one of its most faithful servants since the creation of this section within the ASS. Christian Arnal died last weekend. Particularly invested in the practice of martial arts, Christian Arnal has served this discipline for more than half a century. An essential cog of the local club, he was passionate, he had exceptional know-how, both technical and educational. He listened to all those who walked the carpet of the Salindrois dojo where he was at the same time teacher, trainer and educator with a desire to optimize the physical capacities of his students, with whom he was unanimous. About fifty of them became black belts thanks to the wise advice of their instructor.
Since 1961 at the ASS, Christian Arnal began with the Chemists at the very beginning of the decade of 1960, under the era of Master Pachela when the presidency was held by Lenin Bellagamba. It was in September 2013 that he left the club, passing the baton to Stephan Llinares. For all he has given to the sport of Salindro, Christian Arnal very recently received the city medal awarded to him by the sports assistant of the time Gilbert Del Confetto. Free noon expresses its sincere condolences to his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren as well as to all his relatives.
A final tribute will be paid to him at his home, 1 637, chemin de Cauvas, Friday, June 11, at 11 am. The cremation will take place in Nîmes the same day, at 4 p.m.
