At the end of the special week of the ORF quiz program “Q1 – a hint is wrong” Kurt Garger was a guest on Friday, but failed because of the ex-team boss.
The former defender formed a quiz pair with the candidate Fabian. But after the second question on the program, the journalist had to leave the quiz again.
The duo, of all things, had a football question to their undoing. We were looking for a well-known Austrian. The references “Last name is used with the word salad” and “Former Mayor of Vienna” quickly made the duo think of Michael Häupel.
Not thinking of Ernst Happel
However, the other two answers “was known as a chain smoker and grumbler” and “Actress Maria … from, SOKO Donau´” did not match the former mayor. Her name is Maria Happel.
In the end, the duo weren’t sure, so candidate Fabian decided to quit. The right decision. After all, trainer legend Ernst Happel would have been the term we were looking for. “My coach for two years at Tirol”, the former defender shook his head.
Nevertheless, the candidate took home 2,400 euros.
