The winds of change are blowing in the Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas. Now it only remains to be seen how strong they will be and to what extent Luis Enrique will redesign his eleven for this Wednesday’s momentous match against Slovakia. In training this Tuesday, the last before the trip to Seville,
the coach has rehearsed up to six novelties regarding the line-up made against Poland, according to information advanced by Cadena Cope. The most striking thing was the absence of Marcos Llorente, who would leave his place on the right side to César Azpilicueta and yet would have no space in the engine room. Nor would Jordi Alba be part of the game, who would cede his demarcation to José Luis Gayà, although all these experiments would have to be framed in the process of study and adaptation to the rival of the Asturian technician, who has not yet said anything concrete or definitive to his mens.

The eventual titles of Azpilicueta and Gayà would be accompanied by the news of Busquets, who would leave Rodri, Èric García on the bench, to the detriment of Pau Torres, Thiago, activated by Koke, and Sarabia, accommodated in the session this Tuesday in the far left in place of Dani Olmo.
At first glance it would be shocking to see that all these changes could be carried out, more than anything because Luis Enrique is a man of fixed ideas and oblivious to outside noise, attached to his roadmap. He goes to death with his ideas, faithful to a defined and assumed principle, but in this case certain tweaks are taken for granted. It only remains to check its depth.

Between Sweden and Poland, Luis Enrique barely changed a starter: he sat down Ferrán and put Gerard Moreno on the right wing. The striker got on very well with Álvaro Morata, who, by the way, is still from the game. If all the changes rehearsed in Las Rozas were carried out, the alignment of Spain against Slovakia would be the following: Simón; Azpilicueta, Éric García, Laporte, Gayà; Busquets; Thiago, Pedri; Gerard, Sarabia and Morata. It is hard to imagine a revolution of such a size, more than anything because it would suppose the assumption of an error on the part of the selector, but there is no doubt that the Spaniard will put the scalpel to adjust the team in the face of a momentous crash. It only remains to be seen how many changes there will eventually be to the eleven.
