During World Cup twice as many traffic accidents after matches Red Devils: European Championship central to new bob campaign

An analysis by the traffic institute Vias shows that the number of accidents doubled in the hours after the matches of the Red Devils at the 2018 World Cup. The euphoria and the festive mood of some drivers certainly play a role in this. Both before and after the matches, more drivers were found to be driving under the influence.

For example, in 16 percent of the accidents in the hour before a match of the Red Devils, the driver was under the influence, compared to 5 percent on a comparable day without a match. In the hour after the race, no less than 19 percent of drivers blew positive after an accident.
