Controversy around the jerseys of Ukraine and North Macedonia

Controversy has arisen over Ukraine and North Macedonia jerseys for Euro football which begins on Friday.

The Ukrainian jersey features a map, including the Crimean peninsula annexed by Russia and the breakaway regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

North Macedonia has designed a new jersey especially for the Euro, but decided to return to the “former“jersey with which the country had qualified after the reactions of the supporters.
