The NBA scene changes week to week, day to day, and – depending on injury news – even minute to minute, making every list a unique list. which requires a constantly evolving approach.

With so many changes so fast, we’re here with plenty of tools to help you out. We’ve got daily projections, a matching heatmap, a schedule optimizer, and a bunch of other great resources to help give you an edge.

The daily NBA Fantasy is very dependent on opportunity, so you’ll need to make sure you’re up to speed on key injuries and COVID-19 situations. Our projections are updated until the announcement to reflect current news and we also have player news updates.

We’ll also bring you this primer every day, breaking down some of the best games of the day at each position.

Note: when I refer to a player’s value, this is the number of fantasy points scored for each $ 1,000 salary. As a general rule of thumb, a value of 5.0 (that’s 5.0 FanDuel Points for every $ 1,000 of salary) is the minimum baseline we aim for.

Let’s take a look at who you should be targeting on tonight’s two-game playoff roster, which ends at 7:30 p.m. EST.

Ben Simmons ($ 8,500) – This is a ‘pick your poison’ point between Simmons and Trae Young ($ 10,400), but we’ll look at the $ 1,900 savings we’re getting with the point guard. of the Philadelphia 76ers. In three of his last five games, Simmons has lost 44.9, 46.8 and 52.5 FanDuel points, and he only needs 42.5 to rack up values five times as high tonight (or 5, 0 fantastic points for every $ 1,000 of salary). It’s worth noting that the Aussie only totaled 25.1 and 33.3 fantasy points in the other two outings, so he’s far from certain.

Reggie Jackson ($ 4,800) – Jackson is our algorithm’s most projected point-per-dollar game on the entire list, and with Kawhi Leonard (ACL) indefinitely, it’s easy to see why. Jackson is counted on for more goals for the Los Angeles Clippers, and he’s already played three games with at least 20 real points in the last seven games of the LA playoffs. Jackson has collected over 23.6 FanDuel points in 7 of his last 10 efforts.

Paul George ($ 9,200) – PG13 could very well be the most registered player of the two players tonight, and rightly so. George has racked up 44 or more fantastic points in 7 of his last 10 games, and he should see insane volume with Kawhi inactive. In fact, with Leonard off the field this season, George saw his utilization rate increase by 6.8 percentage points while averaging an additional 0.15 FanDuel points per minute, per RotoGrinders.

Luke Kennard ($ 3,600) – Without Leonard on the field this season, Kennard was another player who saw a big increase in volume. The 24-year-old’s utilization rate jumped 2.8 percentage points and he’s averaging an additional 0.09 FanDuel points per minute in that division. Kennard is a solid source of fantastic relief tonight.

Nicolas Batum ($ 6,200) – Either way, Batum is now our algo’s projected top scorer at the little forward. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about the job, nothing will. The veteran has racked up over 30 fantastic points in three of his last five games and, like every other Clippers player, he should benefit from Kawhi’s absence.

Bojan Bogdanovic ($ 5,700) – The numberFire models project Bogdanovic as the best value game on what is arguably the thinnest position on the slate. The sniper has amassed 23.3, 28.5, 34.1 and 35.6 FanDuel points in four of his last five games, and he should have solid ground tonight, especially since Mike Conley does not will not fit.

John Collins ($ 6,600) – Collins hasn’t shown a lot of playoff advantage for the Atlanta Hawks, but we can’t really afford to be picky on a two-game roster. The 23-year-old has managed 31.8 or more FanDuel points in three of his last six outings, and he hasn’t fallen below 24.4 in any of those competitions. It’s about as good as it’s going to be in power tonight.

Marcus Morris ($ 5,600) – What is he, another Clippers player? Yeah. Consider for a moment that Leonard’s use rates in the last two games were 31.5% and 32.3% m respectively. That’s a lot of volume to be gained. Morris should be able to take advantage of that. In four of his last seven games, the 31-year-old has racked up fantastic outings of 27.5, 32.0, 35.7 and 37.9 points – it will play, especially with a salary of $ 5,600. Morris is numberFire’s most valued value in the attacking position tonight.

Joel Embiid ($ 10,800) – Embiid was clearly tired in the second half of Game 4 against Atlanta, but the return to Wells Fargo Center should be exactly what the doctor ordered. This season, the big man is averaging 52.7 FanDuel points at home, 8.1 above his road average. In the first two home games of this series, Embiid lost 63.8 and 64.6 FanDuel points. This advantage will be almost impossible to match without Kawhi on the slate.
