BOLASPORT.COM – The legend of Chinese badminton, Cai Yun, revealed the scary power that Markis Kido had while actively playing.

Markis Kido passed away on Monday (14/6/2021) night WIB due to suspicion of having a heart attack.

The Jakarta-born player died while playing badminton with his colleagues at Petrolin Sports Center, Alam Sutera, South Tangerang, Banten.

This sad news is very surprising, especially for badminton lovers in the country.

During his lifetime, Markis Kido was known as one of the great badminton players who had great service in making Indonesia proud on the international stage.

Together with Hendra Setiawan, Kido managed to carve out the highest achievement for every athlete in the world, namely winning an Olympic gold medal.

Precisely at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Kido/Hendra rose to the champions podium after defeating the vice hosts Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng.

Kido/Hendra’s efforts to present an Olympic gold medal for Indonesia were not easy.
