A flash operation. It started at dawn on Sunday morning and ended in the middle of the night, when the flying squad of the police brought two Nigerian criminals to justice. The facts. At dawn on Sunday, in fact, the agents intervened following the theft of a mobile phone in Piazzale Europa. The man who saw the cell phone take off told the agents what had happened and provided a detailed description of the two criminals who had already fled. Leaving a baseball cap on the street, however, picked up by the victim and promptly handed over to law enforcement. The two individuals, the victim always said, had gone off on a white bicycle. On the basis of the numerous reports made by the citizens of the area at the detachment of the police in via Turri, the searches were immediately started which gave a very positive result. Recognized during the night, near via Agosti, two Nigerian citizens (CI and MS, the initials) were identified and arrested, with a regular residence permit for our country, respectively 19 and 21 years old, for theft crimes with ripping and extortion.
