Blues: against Portugal, the temptation to change

Didier Deschamps has therefore not departed from his rule in major competitions. As in 2014, 2016 and 2018, the coach of the Blues did not keep in the second match the team aligned in the first. This time, the change concerned only one position (against two in the three previous competitions): Digne in place of Hernandez. For the third meeting of the group stage, in 2018 against Denmark (0-0), the staff had turned a lot with the entry of elements like Nzonzi, Sidibé, Kimpembe and Lemar. Will this laborious draw against Hungary (1-1) change Deschamps’ plans? Clearly, given certain individual performances, collective performance and its accounting consequences, are we preparing for a tactical or player revolution?
