Manchester City’s mainstay, Kevin De Bruyne, has been named the PFA’s Player of the Year

BOLASPORT.COM – Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is level with Cristiano Ronaldo after being re-elected as the PFA Player of the Year.

Kevin De Bruyne was named the Professional Footballers’ Association Men’s Footballer of the Year in 2021.

Chosen by his professional peers, De Bruyne received the award for being recognized for his important role for Manchester City throughout the 2020-2021 season.

The Belgian midfielder has had an impressive season with Man City by being a key figure in the Citizens’ success in winning the Premier League and the English League Cup.

De Bruyne played 40 games in all competitions scoring 10 goals and making 18 assist in the 2020-2021 season.

He also played an important role in Manchester City’s journey to the Champions League final by scoring goals in the last 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals.

The PFA Player of the Year award makes De Bruyne equal to Cristiano Ronaldo.
