ATP> Murray: “It will be very hard for Federer to regain his level”

Andy Murray was asked about Roger Federer’s return. The least we can say is that the former world number one is in a good position to talk about it. Andy fights with his body to get closer to his old level. And he can confirm that returning to the circuit after a long period of absence is not easy. Suddenly, he seems pessimistic for Roger, even if he is convinced that the latter will do everything necessary to make his return a success.

“I don’t know exactly where Roger’s situation is, but from my own experience I can say it’s difficult. To come back to the circuit and play, after a long period of absence, considering the level he has had for 20 years, being at the top of this sport, and seeing that you do not play as you want and that you do not not able to hit the punches you made, it’s really hard. It is extremely frustrating. But I am sure that he will work to find his best level ”
