The Argentine women’s basketball team fell to Puerto Rico last night by 79-56, in his second appearance at the AmeriCup that is held precisely on that Central American island.
The Albicelestes suffered the scoring of the locals in the first half, when they received 51 points against 25 of their own.
It is evident that those led by Gregorio Martínez had a better second half, taking advantage of the fact that Puerto Rico lowered its intensity.
The match was in zone B and was played at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum stadium in San Juan (Puerto Rico), where the Argentine scorers were Victoria Gauna (13 points) and Macarena Rosset (9).
