after almost going through it, she ends up with a bite the size of a golf ball

18-year-old Abby Tannetta was staying in a friend’s parents’ trailer in Cardigan Bay, Wales, to celebrate the end of her education when she was bitten by a spider. She woke up in agony with pain under her arm and spotted a large spider in her bed. Terrified, Abby jumped out of bed and ran screaming in fear.

A few days later, she was rushed to hospital for surgery because doctors feared she would contract sepsis.

“I felt a pain that woke me up in my sleep, I looked next to me and just saw this giant spider run away from the bed. It was really painful and only got worse. It got bigger, it was very red, it was itchy and it was so painful. I couldn’t move my arm or sleep on my side, ”Abby tells the Mirror.

“I felt really dizzy and weak, I was in a state of turmoil, and it felt like my heart was racing and the lump had grown even bigger to the size of a golf ball.

Abby had been in her friend’s parents’ trailer several times in Cardigan Bay Holiday Park and had never encountered a spider like the one that bit her. “I’m really scared of spiders anyway, so my first reaction was to scream and run out of my room in a panic,” she says.

Abby then took antihistamines daily to fight any infection left by the bite, but the lump under her arm kept getting bigger and more painful. Three days later, Abby was dizzy and weak from the pain, which was so intense it made it impossible for her to sleep. Despite the antibiotics, his condition worsened. “I didn’t feel better, I woke up and there was blood and pus all over my t-shirt. “

Abby is then taken to the hospital where the doctors tell her that she has to undergo surgery.

Doctors drained the infected area and successfully removed the lump. More fear than harm for the 18-year-old.
