Quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t seem concerned about his current row with the Green Bay Packers.
In recent weeks, several reports have hinted that the 37-year-old veteran no longer wants to be a member of the Wisconsin squad due to the presence of general manager Brian Gutekunst, still in office.
The 2020 NFL MVP also intentionally missed the Packers’ mandatory mini-camp last week.
On Tuesday, Rodgers gave an interview to the TNT network, as part of a promotional activity for “The Match”. This is a round of golf where the hub and Bryson DeChambeau will face a pair consisting of Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson. The game between the two quarterbacks and the two PGA golfers is scheduled for July 6.
During this interview, Rodgers was asked about his current activities.
“It’s one of those quiet dead seasons that I dreamed of and where I can kind of go through my process quietly on my own,” he said.
