The JOC bounty is 5 million yen for gold medals, 2 million yen for silver, and 1 million yen for copper. The 24 baseball players will receive a total of about 10 million yen for gold medals.

“NPB Enterprise”, a business company of the Japan National Baseball Team, will prepare and will be provided with a participation allowance. While professional baseball has been hit by the restrictions on the number of spectators due to the new coronavirus, it aims to win the long-sought gold medal at the tournament where baseball will return for the first time in three tournaments.
