Jesus Aguilar, Corey Dickerson and Adam Duvall all had two points, and the Marlins defeated the Colorado Rockies 6-2 on Tuesday in Miami.
After giving up the first point in the first set, the local favorites took control of the game in the third commitment by scoring four points. In total, they hit 13 hits in eight innings in the game.

Pablo Lopez (2-3) worked on the mound for eight innings, limiting the Rockies to two runs and five hits from a safe place while taking out eight opponents on strikes.
In the other clan, Antonio Senzatela (2-6) had a more difficult outing, conceding four runs, nine hits and a walk in six innings.
Ryan McMahon (rolling) produced the Rockies’ first point, while a poor Lopez pitch saw Charlie Blackmon come in to score the second in the fourth round at bat.
Rangers don’t want Khris Davis anymore
The Texas Rangers have appointed Khris Davis on subpoena to end their association with the veteran.
This was announced by the club’s vice-president of communications, John Blake, on his Twitter account on Tuesday.
The Davis experience was therefore short-lived in Texas, since the Rangers had acquired from the Oakland Athletics last February.
In 22 games this season, the 33-year-old has hit two home runs and maintained a low batting average of .157. Statistics which are far from those he had maintained between 2016 and 2018. During this period, he had notably hit 133 long balls and produced at least 102 points per season.
Currently, the Rangers are at the bottom rung of the American League West Section, with a 23-38 record.
