With Tatis grand slam, Padres beat Mariners

The 22-year-old superstar created the craze on a sunny afternoon at Petco Park when he sent a pitch on a 1-0 count that Robert Duggers aimed at the base of the batter’s eye into center field with one out in the seventh inning.

The Padres took a three-game series against St. Louis, Colorado and Seattle. They have won 12 of their last 13 games.
