Despite the corona crisis, Jean Todt still regularly visits Michael Schumacher. The FIA president insists that he has no intention of leaving Schumacher alone and that the family is very important to him.
Schumacher officially retired from the premier class at the end of 2012. A year later, in 2013, Schumacher was on vacation when disaster struck. He fell very unluckily on a ski slope in the French Alps and suffered severe brain damage. It is unknown how the seven-time world champion is doing now, as his family has chosen to share virtually no updates with the outside world. Nevertheless, reports occasionally come out from people who visit Schumacher, including Jean Todt.
The COVID-19 pandemic has made it very difficult to visit friends and family. Not only because traveling is extremely difficult, but also because of the health risk. Despite the circumstances, Todt still regularly visits Schumacher, he revealed to the Italian Corriere della Sera. “I still see Michael twice a month, I don’t leave him alone. I’ve been through a lot with him, Corinna and the family. The beautiful things we’ve experienced are part of us and we carry with us.”

Jean Todt took office as FIA president in 2009 and will step down at the end of 2021. Although he will soon settle down a lot, he is not afraid that he will end up in a black hole. “I have no shortage of obligations.
