Still without a contract for the next season in the NFL, running back Todd Gurley paid a tour of the Detroit Lions facilities on Thursday.

This is what the ESPN network learned.

Considered one of the best in his profession only a few years ago, the 26-year-old was held back by knee injuries.

Last year with the Atlanta Falcons, Gurley amassed 678 yards and nine touchdowns in 195 carries. He also caught 25 passes for 164 yards.

It was his first and only campaign with the Georgia team. The running back had previously worn the colors of the Los Angeles Rams, where he received two invitations to the Pro Bowl game (2017 and 2018).

If Gurley comes to an agreement with the Lions, he will reconnect with quarterback Jared Goff. The two have rubbed shoulders for four seasons with the Rams.

Recall that during the current offseason, the Michigan team traded quarterback Matthew Stafford in return for Goff, two first-round picks (2022 and 2023) and a third-round pick (2021).
