The Washington Nationals closed 5 points twice to eventually win 12-9 over the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday.

Ryan Zimmerman hit the three-run homerun that broke the tie at 6-6 in the fourth inning, at the expense of Adam Plutko (1-1).

The Orioles led 5-0, 6-1 after two and a half innings.

Baltimore (17-28) lost a fifth straight game and an 11th in 13 outings.

Zimmerman, who is already the organization’s leader in several categories, became the leader in points scored with 948.

In his 907th career game, Josh Harrison got his first start at center fielder for the Nationals and he hit his first-ever grand slam in the third inning.
