President Isabelle Dufour convened theannual general meeting this Saturday May 15, 2021 in the hall of the old canteen of Sap-en-Auge (Orne), in the presence of Gérard Rosé, mayor, and Guy Willot, deputy mayor.
By opening the meeting, the president excused the many absent and confirmed that she did not wish to keep the presidency of the association created in 2011.
As I had announced at the last assembly, I had planned to stop for family reasons and to withdraw the club of the Federation to which it is always necessary to send funds. Initially, we had created the association for children, we had up to 65 members in 2012, today we are 13 members and we have lost 10 competitors
Guy Willot confirms: “on a membership of 50 €, the federation took all the money, it would have been necessary to increase the price of membership to have a consequent cash”.
The voted dissolution
The dissolution of the association is voted unanimously. But shuttlecock and racquet enthusiasts will still be able to indulge in their favorite sport, now in leisure badminton, from the age of 14, since the entertainment center of the Sap plateau, chaired by Denis Robillard, will welcome players. . “There will no longer be a championship, but a contribution of € 15 per person will be requested for insurance within the support association,” explains Isabelle Dufour.
Regarding cash flow, the last financial year ended with a negative result of € 311. It is decided that the funds of the association will be given to the animation center of the Plateau du Sap, ie € 2,124. An extract of the deliberation will be sent to the sub-prefecture and copy to the town hall. The sports hall reopened on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. “It will be necessary to review the time slots for using the hall and respect the barrier gestures”, specifies the mayor.
Isabelle Dufour will take responsibility for leisure badminton within the entertainment center on the Plateau du Sap, she will be assisted by Mahaut and Jehanne Carpentier, congratulated for their presence within the club since its inception. “Let us hope that new members will join the ranks of the group,” concluded Gérard Rosé.
